Recent experience includes work in Afghanistan within the largest USAID (non-infrastructure) program in the world. It contributes to the USAID Afghanistan Mission¡¦s strategic objectives of promoting democratic government, creating a thriving private sector economy, facilitating a better-educated, healthier population, and enhancing overall development by building near-term capacity directly within target institutions.
„«As Director of the Private Sector Team, planned, designed, implement, staffed and managed the second largest component of the $300,000,000 program. He worked closely with the private sector, associations, public sector, ministries, and NGOs.
„«He identified, developed and worked with Afghan businesses, professional associations and the public sector (with emphasis on construction, ICT and professional service firms), to develop their ability to build management, technical and vocational competencies to enable revenue growth in the goods and services offered.
„«This included direct responsible for enabling scholarship for over 1200 students to attend Afghanistan¡¦s first privately funded vocational and technical school;
„«A training strategy for the construction of skills-based training centers to serve the $5 billion construction industry;
