I am a research and editorial professional willing to take on projects that involve editing, proofreading, formatting, and conforming documents/presentations to style guidelines. (Fees determined based on a per-project basis)
I am extremely proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, but would consider handling projects in other programs (e.g. WordPerfect).
I am fluent in Hebrew and am able to translate Hebrew materials (biblical and modern Hebrew as well as talmudic Aramaic).
I am also available in the metro Atlanta area to tutor Jewish/Judaic subjects for all ages, including bar mitzvah and bat mitzvah lessons. I can also tutor most middle school subjects and high school math.

I have worked as a research and editorial assistant at Emory University for over three years. In that capacity I have edited numerous manuscripts by professors of law, religion, and anthropology for publication in journals, books, and lay compositions. I have also copy-edited collaborative, multiple-author translation projects and books. I was the co-editor of Marriage, Sex, and Family in Judaism (Lanham, Md.: Rowman & Littlefield Publishers, 2005) and the manuscript on the ethnography of an immigrant community in Israel was recently accepted for publication by an academic press.
I have extensive experience preparing academic documents in accordance with a variety of style guidelines, including Bluebook, ALWD, Chcago, and Oxford.
I have also prepared doctoral dissertations
In my professional capacity, I regularly translate ancient, medieval and modern Jewish law materials from Hebrew and/or Aramaic to English. I also have experience translating Israeli school transcripts and degree certificates for an immigration attorney.
