Susan has represented Pace-O-Matic (a coin-op gaming company), Advocate Networks (a telecommunications company), Grady Health Systems, The Discovery Channel, Central Atlanta Progress, Sesame Street, the Centers for Disease control and Prevention (CDC), medical practices, medical management companies, the Fulton County Arts Council, and Sugarloaf Country Club, The River Club and numerous other real estate clients. Her expertise includes media relations and publicity, media research, community relations, as well as brand, product and service image management. She has booked speaking engagements for clients at civic clubs throughout Georgia and at industry organizations throughout the country. At the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Susan served as a spokesperson and provided media training to other CDC spokespersons.
With more than 10 years of experience in marketing and journalism, she has written for a variety of newspapers and magazines, and has planned and implemented numerous special events, including a luncheon with New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman and an Atlanta Press Club Holiday Author Party with Rosalyn, Amy and former President Jimmy Carter. She also helped produce the mayoral and gubernatorial political debates seen on Georgia Public Broadcasting.
A member of PRSA, Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University, where she majored in journalism with an emphasis in public relations. She is a former actor and member of Toastmasters. She also writes speeches and coaches clients for public speaking and media appearances.
