If you took John Bonham and Keith Moon and rolled then into one jammin' mofo, you would have thabeve!! Beve has been jammin' off and on with many acts since '76 including his current band, Southern Crossroads. Beve is sometimes referred to as the "mad man" behind the kit. In fact he has been known to indulge in bizarre solos utilizing his bare hands (not to mention his bare feet!)
Beve did not start playing drums until he was eighteen, sitting in for a Gospel Quartet. Although Beve has taken several periods of respite from playing over the years, he has managed to build quite a musical resume including acts like MX, Southern Crossroads, Alternate Route, Body Heat, Gertrude's Mojo, Loose Coalition, Cold Feat, Fair Warning, Platinum Pony; and has opened for many national acts including Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet, Jason Aldean and Daryl Worely!
Beve sums it up like this: We get to share this energy with with the audience and it's mutually beneficial! Yeah, it's about the jam, but even more so, it's about the people. It's like when people have a bad week, whether it's divorce, work, legal issues or whatever, if we can help them forget about their BS for a few hours and have a large time, then we have accomplished a world of good! We owe everything to our fans! It's like this - many times I have played my rear off until the end of the gig and collapsed when I walked off stage, but unless I've given everything, then I have cheated them!" "NEVER GIVE LESS THAN 200%!"
